Don’t put your bike away just because of a little snow and cold weather, get up and ride your bike to any of the great bike winter events below.
But before you put a leg over your bike, sign up to take the Winter Bike Week Challenge. The Bike Fed wants you to log the miles you ride for the Winter Bike Week, from February 12th through February 18th. Register here at the Endomondo site.
This winter the Bike Fed’s partner, Kimberly Clark, is sponsoring another commuter challenge. If you were one of the more than 4,500 people who logged over one million miles riding their bikes in the challenge last year, we think you will find the Endomodo site has been improved to make it easier to log your miles. Let us know what you think about the new Endomondo interface and be sure to try their super easy to use apps for smart phones if you have one. I love my Endomondo iPhone app and use it every time I put a leg over a bike because it is so easy.
This winter we are hoping to get 1,000 people to participate in our cold weather commuter challenge. Once you have an Endomondo account, download the smartphone app to automatically log your miles every time you ride. No smartphone? No problem, you can easily record your trips only manually after you login to your Endomondo account.
