The 4th Annual La Crosse Bike Swap will be held on February 27th, 2016 at Logan Middle School between 10 am and 2 pm.
The Bike Swap was created four years ago to provide a place for buyers and sellers to gather before the beginning of the spring bicycling season to socialize and find new homes for gently used bikes, parts, and clothing. Each year we invite bike shops and independent sellers to dust off bicycles, clothing and gear that have accumulated and bring all the goods to the La Crosse Bike Swap.
The Bike Swap will benefit Logan Bike Works, an after school program, located at Logan Middle School which teaches kids basic bike maintenance skills. Through hard work and commitment, students are able to earn a bike and dozens of bikes are refurbished and donated back into the community. This past year they contributed over 25 bikes to elementary school students, 23 bikes to middle school students, and 18 bikes to the Salvation Army. Students work through mentorship to put these bikes back into circulation.
This year vendors can buy one 8 foot table for $30 or two tables for $60.Each table includes entry for two people, chairs, and space for three bikes to sell in the bike corral. We will have items for auction and food for sale to keep buyers and sellers satisfied. If you are only interested in selling bikes, bring them the morning of the event, pay $5 a bike at the door, get a tag for the bike to include the information about the bike and your cell phone number and then shop at the swap while you wait for a call for a bike sale.
Reserve a table here to sell your goods and stay tuned for announcements about the upcoming event. Contact Carolyn with questions. email@example.com
