Carny Fun at Ray's

Wow, Winter Carnival last Friday was a blow-out bash. After you see the photos, you’ll be kicking yourself if you missed this first-time. Despite the cold and a bit of snow, more than 300 people joined the Bike Fed staff to play games, eat great food, drink great beer, and tear it up at Ray’s Indoor Bike Park. Thanks to everyone who showed up, we hope you had as good a time as we did hanging out with you.

In addition to having a good time, we sold 1,200 raffle tickets and introduced a bunch of newbies to the fun of riding at Ray’s. I overheard a lot of people who had never ridden there making plans to come back. Even if you are not the sort of person who likes to catch big air, I encourage you to give Ray’s a try. They have courses for riders of all abilities and interests. Even if you just want to spin some laps without putting on your snowmobile suit, I think you will enjoy riding at Ray’s.

The Bike Fed would like to thank everyone who attended  of course, but special thanks go out to all the volunteers, sponsors, food vendors, the entire team from Wheel and Sprocket and everyone at Ray’s. Without all the help, there is no way the Bike Fed could have pulled this off.

If you did miss our first annual Winter Carnival, don’t fret too much. We will have another one next year, maybe on a Saturday when more people are free to ride during the day. In the mean time, you will have to be content with looking at the slide show below. I will also have a video posted as soon as we finish editing it.

Thanks again, and here’s to Carny Power!

    • But we spoiled all fun you would have had camping out in the RW24 line next year Tony;) And who will Jake talk to?
