Bike Fed to provide Bike Valet at all UW football games

This year’s prospects for the Badgers look great as the team works towards an unprecedented third straight Big 10 championship. If you plan on riding your bike to Camp Randall to watch their Big 10 march your prospects look great as the Bike Fed will be providing luxurious bike valet at all 2012 UW home football games.

In partnership with UW Transportation Services, the bike valet will be convienient and easy way to store your bike while you’re at the game. We’ll be located right behind the Monroe Street UW Credit Union on the grass next to the Southwest Commuter Path.

How the bike valet works:

The valet will open two hours before the game and will close an hour after the fifth quarter band performance. When you arrive you will be given a ticket that corresponds to a number we attach to your handlebars. You can then enjoy the game worry-free and pick it up afterwards. Helmets and bags can be left on your bike however please do not leave any expensive personal items. The first game is this Saturday, September 1st at 2:30pm against Northern Iowa. For this first game UW Transportation Services will be providing a bike mechanic to do safety checks. Please remember to bring your bike light for those upcoming games that will end when it’s dark.
