The Bicycle Federation, along with key corporate partners Trek, REI, Saris Cycling Group, Pacific Cycles and Planet Bike, plus local Madison bicycling club The Bombay Bicycle Club, joined forces Tuesday night to ensure that bicyclists have a strong voice in the direction and operation of the newly-opened Badger State Trail.

Our efforts received front-page coverage in the Wisconsin State Journal:

Local blogger Matt Logan wrote about the event in his madvelocity.com blog:

Silent Sports Magazine also covered the event in their online blog:

Most importantly, it is vital to remember that Tuesday night was fantastic reminder of what we can do when we all show up and make our voices heard. The Bicycle Federation, even with the help of our outstanding corporate partners and local bike clubs, simply cannot do this without the commitment and dedication of our member base.

We look forward to mobilizing for the next great bicycling cause in the near future!
